Deck and Interior Trim Begins
Pictures taken Friday, July 26
Posted August 4 when Oronet ftp Server came back on line

Mary and I didn't get out to the site while Craig and Jodie came up the July 21 weekend to select tile in Grass Valley and go over many upcoming construction details with Roy. We therefore drove up the following Friday morning to check out progress. I guess Pete and Roy and their crew decided to take a long weekend because everything was closed up and empty when we arrived. There was much progress since our last visit, some of which Craig and Jodie probably saw but I'll report everything new since my last report to Craig. (I haven't posted the rest of our July pictures because Oronet's Web server wasn't operational for incoming material.)

Post holes aligned for deck addition to meet main deck about halfway out

A great deal of progress is underway inside the house. Almost all the interior doors are now hung or installed into sliding door pockets, and almost all of the interior window casings are in place, sans trim. Materials, tools and benches are set up for mass production of interior window trim.

Doors to entry hall closets and study have been hung
Assembly line for window top trim
Window top trims with top-molding nail blocks, sans top molding
Window casings, sans trim, in the nook (typical for most of house)
Close-up of the only window trimmed out as of Friday (in parlor)
The garage has been painted the final-chosen base color.
